Apple Butter Festival   (added Oct 23 08)                
October 25th & 26th
Apple Butter Festival - Kimmswick, Missouri This 2 day festival begins at 10 AM and runs until 5 PM both days. Try this wonderful delight at the Apple Butter Festival!
This is the largest celebration Kimmswick has annually. There are close to 100,000 people that attend this event. During the two day event no vehicle traffic is allowed in the town. Vehicles are to park at the Windsor School and catch a bus into town. The busses will run throughout the day shuttling visitors to-and-from the parking area at Windsor School.
The Kimmswick Historical Society will again be making and selling their famous Apple Butter at the Apple Butter Pavilion on Market Street.
100’s of vendor booths will fill the city park and line the streets of Kimmswick selling a variety of crafts and food items. live entertainment will also be provided by the city of Kimmswick and the Kimmswick Merchants.

Christmas Open House
Saturday, November 22nd
Finish your holiday shopping early! The town will be decked out in its holiday attire, with special events planned. Santa will host a tree lighting ceremony, strolling carolers and entertainment throughout the town. Shops will be serving refreshments. So make your list and check it twice then head to Kimmswick for this fun-filled family event and wrap-up your Holiday shopping early this year.
Complimentary Trolley Rides, Music, Join the festivities!
Shops will be open late: 10am to 9pm.
Restaurants open until 7pm.


Old Fashioned Christmas Festival
December 5th, 6th & 7th
Old Fashioned Christmas Festival featuring Candlelight Tour of Historic Homes! Shops and Restaurants will be open late. Historic buildings will be decorated in Christmas attire. Carolers, carriage rides, and other activities. While luminaries will light your way through Kimmswick during our annual Christmas Festival. Shops will be open late: 10am – 9pm. Restaurants are open until 7pm.

    9:30: Meet at Kimmswick Historical Society for orientation and tour of the museum.

    11 am: Lunch at The Blue Owl

    12:30 – 3 pm: Shop using your Girlfriends Day passport full of savings and free gifts.

    3 pm: Blue Owl dessert, along with chances to win great prizes, at Chimney Rock Guest House
     or the Historic Anheuser Estate, both locations overlook the Mississippi River.

Girlfriends Day will be Saturday May 17th.  To receive a "special day package"
reservations should be made. 

Mom & Daughter Day will be Saturday, May 3rd.  Make reservations for a
special package price we are putting together for an unforgettable day.

April is RED HAT Month!  Mark your calendars for Wednesday April 23,
Saturday April 26, & Wednesday April 30th.  Reservations required for the fun day package.

Kimmswick Easter Egg Hunt:  Sunday, March 16th 1:00 p.m.  The Merchants
of Kimmswick are host to this Annual Event.  All children 2 - 10 are welcome
to participate.  Bring your Easter Basket!

St. Patrick's Luck of the Irish: Register to win a Pot o'Gold Gift Basket
at participating merchants.  Register as often as you like from March 1st
thru March 16th.  The lucky winner will be drawn on Tuesday, March 18th.
